Joined Van de Velde in late 2009

Hi, my name’s Kenneth and I first arrived at Van de Velde as a temporary agency worker in late 2009. I was given a permanent contract in early 2010.
In my position as rolls warehouse manager I’m responsible for every roll of fabric from the moment it arrives to the moment it departs. I make sure that the people in the cutting room get their rolls of fabric in good time so they can send the fabrics on to the foreign stitching sites on schedule.
I’ve a certain freedom in my job. The team spirit is great and the colleagues are brilliant. That’s why I like it so much.
I ended up here at Van de Velde completely by chance. But I stayed here because I really had the feeling that I was part of a family business: everybody knows everybody else and everyone is approachable.
