Your job

As a Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist, you are responsible for developing the strategy and implementing the optimization efforts to improve user experience, maximize conversion rates and increase engagement across the brand and retail websites of the Van de Velde group. You will work closely with the digital sales, marketing & data team to advocate our personalisation and testing capabilities and strategies & cultivate a data-driven mindset towards always-on optimisations.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • implementing & influencing a conversion optimisation roadmap across all digital channels to maximise commercial, marketing & customer KPIs .

  • managing key conversion points in the marketing funnel.

  • increasing conversion rates (online sales + appointments).

  • driving marketing-qualified potential consumers into the database.

  • driving a test and learning (A/B & multivariate) programme using personalization & testing tools to ensure continuous measurable results.

  • managing and optimizing input for landing pages, website calls-to-action (CTAs), etc.

  • UX & data-driven input for web design & functionalities.

  • analysing and working with marketing colleagues to optimise marketing channel (soft) conversion & improving on-site marketing funnel KPI’s such as CTR, page view rates, …

  • assisting the Digital Performance Manager in better forecasting the monthly and weekly conversion forecasts by channel & market in the forecasting, budget and planning process

  • collaborating with people responsible for channels, content, email, social media, in order to optimize each conversion path

  • utilising and facilitating customer research (usability labs, on-site surveys, post purchase experience surveys) to drive hypotheses into the experimentation roadmap

  • continuously reviewing & enhancing the insight / analytics around digital channel performance

  • translating the customer segmentations from the customer data and insight that we have into actionable on-site segmentation to achieve more effective multi-channel marketing and targeting.

Your profile

  • You have experience in Conversion rate optimisation & web analytics (5+ years in digital marketing/e-commerce)

  • You are data-driven & have a process-oriented mindset, but you are also detail-oriented.

  • You have project planning and organizational skills.

  • You are a teamplayer with good communication & coordination skills.

  • You have an experimentation/fail-fast mindset and you are a real problem solver.

  • You have advanced knowledge of Google Analytics or other web analytics

  • You have general knowledge of statistical concepts

  • You have experience with personalization software is a plus

  • Experience with Content Management Systems is a plus

  • You speak English. Other languages such as Dutch, French, German, … are a plus.
